My Career

Imagen
When I was 13 years old, I started to be really interested in movies, I liked to watch them, do research and similar stuff. However, I started being interested in the Filmmaking career the year after, when I was 14 years old. That same year I rejected the idea and decided to study Psychology , and I'm not really sure why I did that.  When it was time to decide, I applied to Psychology but I didn't got accepted. I entered Bachillerato to do a transfer after 1 year.  The year I was in Bachillerato I remembered my love for cinema, and started researching about the career. I decided that it was better for me than Psychology, because it was more related to things that I actually like. So, at the end of the year, I took the PSU for the second time and applied to the Filmmaking career.  My second option was Journalism , because I had the option to do an intern transfer to Filmmaking if I approved the first year. Luckily, I was accepted in my first option. This is jus...

Best Movie Genre

Imagen
When I was a little girl I didn't watch horror movies, I was really scared of all the creatures like Samara from "The Ring" and Regan from "The Exorcist".  "El Orfanato", by J.A. Bayona One night in a sleepover me and my friends watched a movie named "El Orfanato" , it was a Spanish movie of Suspense and Horror. That was my first horror movie, and since then, that genre  has become my favorite. I think is fascinating all the techniques that can be used to scare a person. I'm not really a fan of jumpscares , I think that the best type of horror is the one that doesn't show you anything, but makes you imagine the worst. You don't need something jumping to your face to be terrified. In words of Alfred Hitchcock, suspense is "a state or feeling of excited or anxious uncertainty about what may happen". Ju-on, one of my favorite horror movies I like the classic horror movies, like "Halloween" , ...

The best concert I've had

Imagen
When it comes to name the best concert I've had, the answer is clear: it would be the last one, the Kard concert. It was in September 13th in the Coliseo theater and I went with my best friend. We were very excited because it was our first concert together. We were very close to the stage, so we could see the Kard members clearly. From left to right: BM, Somin, Jiwoo and J.Seph But, who is Kard? Kard is a k-pop band, with two girls (Somin & Jiwoo) and two boys (BM & J.Seph). They're really popular in Latin America, even more than in Korea. The people in the concert was euphoric, their music is really catchy, so everyone was dancing, including me.  It was really fun because I was with my best friend and none of us knew the lyrics since they're all in Korean, so we screamed a lot instead. The members of the group were also really nice with the public, they said some words in Spanish and accepted the gifts from the fans, like chupallas and balloons. Thi...

A country I would like to visit.

Imagen
If you asked me which country I would like to visit, I couldn't give you just one answer. There are so many countries I would like to know that is hard to choose one. Anyway, right now, I'm gonna choose Japan , why?, probably because I think it's a beautiful country and its culture is fascinating.  In Japan, cherry blossom trees are very important The Japanese people have a very different way to see the world, specially when it comes to nature and religion. They aren't monotheistic. In their movies, specially the ones made by Studio Ghibli, the spirits of the nature are really important to their culture. I think the most I know from Japan it's thanks to Japanese movies and anime, I know a few words in Japanese but I don't know anything when it comes to writing. I also know some habits of their daily life, but not enough to do it myself. I don't think I would visit any big city, because I'm not a big fan of buildings and pollution. Instead,...
