So, today I have to write about any theme, great! I want to write about my favorite girlband: Little Mix . This group is from the UK and is formed by 4 girls: Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards. From left to right: Leigh-Anne, Jesy, Perrie and Jade They competed in the X factor UK in 2011 and were the first girlband to win in the history of the show. They met each other there. One judge decided that they looked great together and formed the group, and she was totally right! They were really talented, and amazed the audience. That same year they debuted as a girlband with their first single "Cannonball". After that, they released their first album "DNA" with the lead single being "Wings" 7 years have passed, and they're stronger than ever. This year, in November 16th, they released their fifth album "LM5" with songs about female empowerment and body acceptance, taking all the sexism and the insults ...

Post Graduate Studies

This is my first year in the filmmaking career, but I've think a lot about what's gonna happen after my graduation. I'm not sure if I wanna study something related to learning about cinema genres, because I think it's important to know things about other subjects that we've never seen in the career, like musical composition or acting. I would love to take a course about cinema makeup.  All the special effects in Saw are made with makeup! I love when the special effects of the movies aren't made with 3D animation but with makeup. You can create an unknown creature, make a person look old, you can create a wound, etc. Knowing how to do it could be really useful in the future and could open more gates for me in the working world. In Chile there is a course about special effects and fantasy, in the Film School. I guess that is my first option, but I'm open to more possibilities. It would be really great if I can study cinema makeup in another country....

My future job

Right now I'm studying to be a filmmaker. This is just my first year, but I think that I know what I want to do with this career. I think that I would maybe work in a film production company, even if is a small one, because that could offer me the possibility of a regular job (that is really weird in this career) and a regular salary. However, I'm really interested in the possibility of doing things on my own.  It's gonna be hard but not impossible. I think that if I learn a lot about other areas like music and animation I could make some audiovisual stuff myself. Now, regarding the salary, that's a complicated subject. I'm not studying this thinking that I'm gonna be rich. I want a salary enough to live without struggles, I'm probably gonna economize a lot, especially when it becomes necessary to but a new equipment. Travelling a lot doing what I like would be fantastic! I already had to travel outside Santiago to recording in just my first semeste...
