My Career

When I was 13 years old, I started to be really interested in movies, I liked to watch them, do research and similar stuff. However, I started being interested in the Filmmaking career the year after, when I was 14 years old. That same year I rejected the idea and decided to study Psychology, and I'm not really sure why I did that.
When it was time to decide, I applied to Psychology but I didn't got accepted. I entered Bachillerato to do a transfer after 1 year.
The year I was in Bachillerato I remembered my love for cinema, and started researching about the career. I decided that it was better for me than Psychology, because it was more related to things that I actually like. So, at the end of the year, I took the PSU for the second time and applied to the Filmmaking career.
My second option was Journalism, because I had the option to do an intern transfer to Filmmaking if I approved the first year. Luckily, I was accepted in my first option.
This is just my first year, but what I've seen so far is even better that I imagined. I think is the best choice I could ever made in my entire life. Even if I'm stressed out, I'm still loving what I'm doing, and I'm looking forward to all the years to come.
One of my favorite things right now is the editing process, I like to put two shots together and create the illusion of continuity. Is like telling a story.

  1. I'm studying Filmmaking studies too, and I was interesed inthe edition process like you! But I left behind that idea because I found out it wasn't for me. And yes, it's stressing like hell, but we can make it!
