Post Graduate Studies

This is my first year in the filmmaking career, but I've think a lot about what's gonna happen after my graduation.

I'm not sure if I wanna study something related to learning about cinema genres, because I think it's important to know things about other subjects that we've never seen in the career, like musical composition or acting. I would love to take a course about cinema makeup. 

All the special effects in Saw are made with makeup!

I love when the special effects of the movies aren't made with 3D animation but with makeup. You can create an unknown creature, make a person look old, you can create a wound, etc. Knowing how to do it could be really useful in the future and could open more gates for me in the working world.

In Chile there is a course about special effects and fantasy, in the Film School. I guess that is my first option, but I'm open to more possibilities. It would be really great if I can study cinema makeup in another country. 

I would like to do a part-time course, I'm not really a fan of the distance learning, I feel like I learn more when I can see and examine everything, specially in the cinema makeup, it's really important to investigate every single detail.  

I hope I can achieve this dream. Let's see what happen, there are a few years left, but I think I can make it!
