Changes to my study programme

I have think a lot about this subject. My career needs a lot of equipment for the students, like camera, microphones, etc. Sadly, some of this equipment are broken or have been used too much. I think it would be great if the university could buy more.
Also, my Sound teacher says we should have a sound studio, and I think he's right, I always have to record sound at my house, and it's never quiet enough to make a good recording. I think we should have a studio to record foley too, that would be great, specially to the students that want to do sound in movies.

I think the length of the studies is okay. Besides, it's no necessary to have a degree to make movies. A lot of directors didn't finish their studies, (they had money tho). The workload it's not that bad, except at the end of the semester. In two weeks I have to travel to Viña del Mar to record my exam. I'm really gonna be happy when the semester ends. Anyway, I think the subjects I had to study were really fun (maybe the ones I have with the journalism students are a little boring to me, but they're not that bad), I didn't knew anything about making movies at the beginning of the year, so I'm happy with the things I've learned, I wouldn't change anything about that.
I think the teaching method was fine, it was a lot of practice, and I appreciate that, but I would like to have more theoretical classes. Like I said before, I didn't knew anything about the equipment required, and I still don't know a lot, so it would be really useful to have more classes to learn about them.

    In Icei there have always been problems with the equipment, it is very little for the amount of students we are, I even had a group that I had years ago for the same reason: c

    Wow! A sound studio would be great. And the equipment thing is frustrating. Several times during strikes, that's always one of the biggest demands.

    I love the sounds in the movies! :O in fact it's my favorite thing in movies hahaha and I agree about the money in ICEI :( I hope that someday changes

    I bet you your sound teacher is Pablo Pinto, hahaha! He always says that! But he's right, we should have a sound studio because sound is as much important as having a good studio to record a good image. I hope they do it someday (hopefully it would be in like 5 years)
